A "watched" op doc is an op doc whose changes will be tracked on the Op Doc Wizard Dashboard under "My Watched Op Docs". When an op doc that an individual is assigned to "watch" is modified, it moves to the top of their "My Watched Op Docs" list, a star appears next to it indicating that the user has not yet seen the changes and a comment indicates what changed about the op doc and when the change occurred. Viewing the op doc automatically removes the star next to it in the user's list so that they may easily differentiate between new changes and changes they have already seen.
To begin watching an op doc:
- Open the detail view of the op doc
- Scroll to the bottom of the page under the "Watchers" section.
- Click the "Add Watcher" link. The link will be replaced with a drop down list of available contacts to add as a watcher
- Select your name from the drop down list. You will automatically be added to the list of watchers.
- To remove yourself, simply click the "X" in parentheses next to your name
